yes, I do . I have them every day of my menstruation.
You get clots of blood because that is how your body tries to
stop you from bleeding so much, it is o.k just as long as you
don't have to change your kotex more than I think it is 6 times a
day ,then you have to tell your doctor.

i have the clots my whole period. sometimes there are small but most of the time there are about the size of walnuts to eggs. my periods are so bad that i go through super plus tampons and pads. on a really bad day i will have to change every 30 to 40 minutes. went to doctor tried depo shots that didn't help, tried provera pills that didn't help, had d&c that didn't help will have hystercomy next month. so as you can see sometimes clotting is normal and sometimes it not.

its not really a blood clot. during the month, there is a layer that forms in the uterus - the endometrium. its a mucous layer, rich in bloodvessels and nutrients. this layer forms in preparation for possible pregnancy so that the ovum can plant itself into the layer and grow into the embrio and ferus.

if pregnancy doesnt occur, this is when that layer isnt needed and the body needs to get rid of it. there is a complex string of things involving hormones and thus you menstruate.

thus, in short, it is not really a blood clot, but rather a piece of the endometrial tissue. its normal, thats why yuo get period pains because the uterine muscle contracts and relaxes the whole time to get rid of the tissue.

I do, and it is normal. When you bleed a little too hard, clotting is your bodys way of slowing down the blood flow. Notice after the clotting process, your blood flow will become lighter.

I don't think you mean a blood clot, but rather clots of blood-very different things. And it is not unusual, however, you might want to investigate whether you have uterine fibroids-they create clots of blood.

Well, to begin with is your age. If you're in your 30's, it could be pre-mentopause. I also went thru the same thing for 10 years, and found out at the age of 40 that I had endometriosis, inside and outside of the uterus......
