i'll be visiting Taiwan soon, please tell me the best places to visit and best secret places to go there. Where tourists dont know

I only know where the tourists go to coz the unknown places aren't my cup of tea. I liked Shilin Night Market, Taipei 101 and it's neighbouring shopping district. The shopping in Shilin's reasonable. But the rest are really BRANDED stuff...better prepare your credit cards! Oh by the way, there's only one bank in Taipei that allows Sing dollars to be exchanged. The rest of the money changers and banks only accept US dollars and Japanese Yen. So better get prepared!

Night markets in whatever city you're staying in. Find a guidebook and you'll get exact locations.
Jade markets are quite interesting. Taiwan is known for cheaper jade.
Hot spring baths just slightly north of Taipei.
Taroake Gorge. It's breathtakingly beautiful.
If you're in Taipei you can travel by subway. Not too many signs in English but you should be able to figure it out yourself.

i like Northern Taiwan-Taipei , Keelung, Jioufen, Yeliou ,Pingshi customarily using fact i'm particularly familiar with those factors. Frankly as i don't force(in no way Learnt the thank you to)so i detect Taichung to be "huge" , not elementary to navigate. on the comparable time while ever I even have visited Taichung, I even have enjoyed myself-sturdy nutrition,extreme high quality pubs e.t.c. taipei and kaohsiung..
these 2 main cities must visit..
remember..
bring lots of money to spend there..
the cab fare for travelling around is kinda ex..
their nightmarket..
and also their streetwear..
go and check them out..
and they got lots of different and funny nike shoes that s'pore don't have..
