Is scotch bright safe to use on teflon?

Can I feel comfortable telling my girl friend that scotch bright is safe to use on her teflon frying pan? Will it scratch the teflon coating?

It scratches. She can use the inner (soft) yellow side.

Use a dish rag, if that doesn't work then soak the pan for a few minutes and it will.
