Freedom. Uhhh, what an interesting concept.
No. I don't think it does and the scary thing is that is is the very people being governed who demand the governing.

"there oughta be a law!"

The less than 30 percent who are represented by the disillusioned followers of the Bush administration and those acclimated to a dictatorship will quickly answer yes.

However, the majority, as represented by those cognitive enough to see their freedoms being taken away each and every day, are asking for impeachment so that our freedoms and our once great country, that so many brave men and women have fought and died for, may once again be known as:

" AMERICA, LAND OF THE BRAVE AND THE FREE"

The truly sad part is, there will be many who read these words and not have a clue as to what was said.

True Freedom - no! We are losing our right to Free speech and freedom to assemble. We can not have freedom of religion when it is not PC. We can't do many things that are supposed to be our "rights" as Americans. If you don't believe me.....look at what happened to the Dixie Chicks when they voiced their opinions. We have taken the name of God out of everything, no more prayers in school, ball games or public places. To have Anti-War rallies could have you in jail (even if peaceful). You are accused of being a terrorist or siding with them if you are against Bush.
Need I say more......

Freedom exists on different levels. I don't think there is any absolute freedom in today's society.

Freedom? As in totally free to do as we please? It isn't here now. Lawmakers feel as if they have to pass laws, after a couple hundred years, we have laws on everything.

All laws should expire every 7 years. Keep those chumps busy figuring out what laws to keep instead of passing new ones.

Freedom to swing your fist ends at my nose!

It depends if you are free because freedom is internal and not always external.
