I hope Hady wins...he's good, truly versatile, got a marketable face and had always set his heart out on a singing career.
I hope Jonathan doesn't win....what's he gonna do IF he wins the Singapore Idol?? He's gonna tell Singaporeans, 'I had a great time winning the Singapore Idol, now it's time to hit back to the books. You do know from Day 1 I've broadcast to EVERYONE that I'm a UNDERGRAD, right? (Big deal?!) Anyway, nothing beats a degree. By the time I embark on my job hunt, I'll have my Singapore Idol 'trophy' to back me up on my credentials. Sorry girls, you've wasted your votes on me!'
Jasmine deserves to be at least a first runner-up...I like her effort. She really puts in effort on improving herself each and every week. I liked her from day 1 and I kinda suspected that she'll be the last girl standing in the competition. And it's not true that she's got no boobs or substance. She's definitely prettier than any plain jane you see on the street. She's got a marketable face as well!
Joakim should pursue an acting career...he's photogenic. Besides, he's gotten this far because he sets young girls' hearts a flutter. He shouldn't stop at this singing competition. If I were Irene Ng, I'd headhunt him and get him in my agency.
Honestly, every single one of them (Hady, Jonathan, Joakim, Jasmine, Paul and even the recently ousted ones all have something special in them that make them stand out from the crowd.) They deserve an alternative route to fame, if they didn't win this Singapore Idol.
And you've gotta admit that ALL of this year's Idol finalists are much, much, much, much better looking than last year's.
