My favorite subjects while young were spelling and art and history (but it was boring history then with mostly memorizing a million dates --in the 50's).

In college 10 years ago, my favorites were ALL subjects, I never had a class I didn't enjoy from a pure learning standpoint, but especially history, social studies, psychology, child development, art for teachers, and methods teaching classes (I was an el ed major), and theology.

My most difficult were physics and biology, geology (science courses..had to work three times harder biology professor taught us like medical students and was highly brilliant...

the class was so hard, half the students failed or dropped out...he announced once that I got a 100 on one of his usual difficult tests and the whole class broke into spontaneous applause. It was really weird and embarrassing, but gratifying too. It remains probably my hardest class in my 5 1/2 years of college.
