Anyone recommend a really good hotel in Dubai - not too expensive, but good location, good facilities etc

I really like the Palm Hotel Dubai but it is way down in Jemariah Beach. The Hard Rock is there though and it is close to Ibn Battuta Mall and the Mall of the Emirates. It also has good facilities and is a good price.
The Sea View in Bur Dubai is a good location and not a bad hotel, I think it is a little over priced for what it is but it does the trick.
I have a lot of friends who have stayed in the Ascot and the York International and they liked them. The York is cheep too. Both have a bit of a high hooker population though. They are both in Bur Dubai.
I stayed at the Sheraton in Deira once and it was really nice and I got a good internet special on their website.
Check www.southtravels.com for the best rates on the other hotels though.

Holiday Inn Downtown and Lotus Hotel are 4 stars and great locality. Hilton Dubai Creek is a bit epensive but really good view of the creek and nice location again. (I think its also 4 star)

I think Savoy Hotel in Burdubai and Club Iranian in Alkaramah are good hotels.

I live in Dubai, ........... Dubai is very expensive,........... reasonable price?! maybe you can try Lotus hotel or Holiday Inn.

try crystal, and Holiday Inn and hilton are 5 stars..
