Thanks to gov. Ogilvie and his cronies about 40 yrs ago, we have it. It was to be eliminated after being paid for but the commission has always found more improvements to spend more $$$.

Get an I-PASS...save a little money. Yesterday I heard that the tolls will again be raised. Probably to pay for the latest tollgate improvements.

Don't drive the tollway if you don't have to. The only plus I can think of is that the tollways in Illinois are pretty decent roads.

I'm with ya, but not much one can do.

No, in basic terms further marginalized. Religions have been dying because of the fact the Age of Enlightenment. they do no longer see it, because of the fact the style of individuals who say they have self assurance has no longer probable fallen severely. yet is the religion of right now what it became the day earlier right now? No. the flexibility of religion has waned in want of technological awareness and secular values. We watch the climate on television and seed the clouds lots extra effective than we pray for rain. We now no longer settle for the dying penalty for many crimes because of the fact the Bible exhibits and many "crimes" interior the Bible are not even acknowledged as crimes in any respect. And might we would decide to bypass back? some might, yet once you realize that would desire to turn our cutting-part western international right into a mirror photograph of the Taliban in Afghanistan, maximum folk will say "No thank you."

Well they did something to that extend in NJ.
but instead of getting rid of the tolls completely, we just pay for both tolls (going to & coming from) all in one spot, so when u ride to u end up paying 70 cents instead of 35 cents each way. plus its better for traffic. Cause God knows we have too musch traffic coming out of NYC.

I used to live there. I understand what you are saying, but we do have nice roads, rest areas, off ramps etc. Honest. It kinda sucks but I think it's a fair trade off.
