My question is about a scene that happens towards the end of the movie, when Jimmy sends Karen to take her pick of dresses.... Karen freaks out after walking a few ways down that path and takes off in fear she was going to be killed. Was Karen just being paranoid that Jimmy was going to kill her, or was her intuition correct ---and Jimmy had planned on killing her, which is why he sent her to “pick out some dresses”?

She was doing a lot of drugs, and very paranoid. He was angry, but he wasn't going to kill her.

Absolutely, Jimmy would have killed her to shut Henry up. Why else would Jimmy have been hanging back and just pointing for her to go in the other door?

Heck ya,....you don't send a lady around a deserted corner in an alleyway to
go get a dress, ya know. So, she had ever reason to be paranoid, cause she
knew what was goin down. I would a done the exact same thing. Those mob
guys, are usually ur closest friends who whack u. They try to get you to gain
their trust, then BAM.....history. It was a f*cked up movie, cause it was true!

The scene implies that Karen was indeed, in danger...but we have no clue how real the threat was or how far it would have gone. She was already fearful and in an altered state...so I suspect she was in a heightened state of fear fueled by a very real threat.

I realized the same thing, last year. She was this - close to getting whacked!

You will just have to suffer with that question . That is why it was written that way. I don't think she was as afraid of being killed as raped.

probably was feeling her out 2 c if she was afraid then he would b inclined 2 think he was betrayed by her husband
