For some reason I could never really get into his books although I love horror/suspense type books and read almost every other author that writes this genre. I did read The Eyes of the Dragon and really liked it..so guess that is my favorite. I did enjoy some of this movies..The Stand, It, and Misery...but just could not read the books.

The Gunslinger. It wasn't like anything else he wrote at all--poetic and truly dark without horror.

Aside from that, his short story collections. The man is an amazing short story writer, but misses the mark on the novels...

The Wastelands. That point in the story was the best because everyone was there and acting in character, the setting was awesome Lud, tick-tock, Blaine, good times!

Any of the short story compilations. His novels are bloated with so much unnecessary excess that they are difficult to read, but the short stories get right to the point and are worth reading.

Tough one... But id guess id have to say The Stand... Was well written and even though it was a long novel it kept your interest.. A close second would be Gerald's Game...
