Could any one think about something entirely new?

Well actually I did think of plasma, but I've seen in lectures that it's actually a state of matter more thant a spirituel element...
But the idea is good.

it's rare that anyone thinks of something truly new, especially concerning such old ideas. plasma, however, seems to fit in the category, especially if you count "spirit", (hell, the chinese count "wood" and "metal"!) and is rarely mentioned along with the classical elements (or para and quasi elements).
