I am preparing a speech for my local community centre on the need of specialised mental health care in our area. If you can give me some pointers of what information would be relevant and what information would entice a community based centere to provide this service I would greatly appreciate it.

The Australian Medical Association (AMA) has extensive research and it is free of charge. However, you will need to deside if you are talking about North, East, South, or West Australin. There is an AMA in each area.

If you are talking about rural, that's kind out there by itself right? Tell them how isolation leads on to Depression and alcohol abuse and drug abuse and so much more, The list goes on and on. It is good to have some kind of social contact or support group to keep your sanity

what are the problem areas? alcohol? drugs? teens? suicide prevention? there are so many topics to go with. find out what services are needed specifically first
