Am I a cynic, or is the rest of the world in complete denial!?!?

I can't stand how everyone acts like the US is not in complete and utter chaos! Hell-O? Has no one besides me noticed what the hell is happening in our local communities, to people, morals, values, standards? I'd even go as far as to say...dare I...the American way of life? We are turning into robots, slowly, but surely! Programmed to do as they wish...Hopefully slow enough that no one will notice! I hate to say it, but I think I'd rather live almost anywhere else in the world, except the US! It is probably bad else where, but at least I could live off the land and be accepted, and not have to compete with the Jones' to get anywhere in life! This sucks!

Hang in there hon. We need more patriots that actually think about what needs to be done rather than just do as they are told. People no longer want to invest in that which belongs to everybody and only want to invest in what they can possess. This is the nature of capitalist expansionism. This is the nature of that which is being done in the name of America but is really the domain of a hirarchal system of supremacy and domination. What is it that you would like to contribute to the world community? What would you like to recieve in return? What tools will you need to be seccesful? Theese questions can help guide you through theese hard times and link you with other responsible peoples like yourself.

I was so disappointed in the American people when they supposedly voted Bush back in office (and I mean supposedly). I could not understand why they weren't paying attention. But really Americans are generally trusting people and believe what is being told to them. It is catching up though and I hope we are not too late to turn it around. Look at the poll numbers lately...Americans are waking up. Okay most Americans, although I do see a lot of people answering some of these posts that still chose to bury their head in the sand. Those are the people that would have been easily fooled by Hitler and his propaganda. Looking forward to November!

I love it here in the U.S. I work in New York so I see it all and I certainly don't see robots. Don't know where you live and work, but you need to change your perspective a bit. The problem is people keep voting for party and don't vote the bums out to get politicians that will work for the legal Americans. It's not to late.
