Last study I read indicates that most of their brain is glia and that those are only used for heating to keep a mammalian brain warm enough to function. Do you think this is true?

Dolphins have actually been proven by studies conducted at the University of Miami and CalTech to be the second most intelligent species on Earth. Human beings are the only species who are more intelligent. They have developed their own language and communication systems. There is even documented cases of them rescuing people from boating accidents and dragging them to safety. Many fishermen have been saved and led to land after severe storms. I know people who have taken handicapped and physically disabled children for swimming lessons with the dolphins and they will actually carry these children through the water in a very gentle manner after letting the children hold onto their fin(s). I work in special ed, and have seen this with my own eyes. They are very amazing creatures. Many people have also been saved from shark attacks by schools of dolphin who will surround the person and not let the shark get near them. There has been a lot of research and training done with them at Disneyland and Disney world and Sea world, and several larger zoos in the country, like San Diego. Have a good night!

The dolphin is clever to appreciate that our finished way of existence is incorrect and would for this reason have not got any interest in helping us. in addition they understand that guy will quickly be long gone from this international and then they'd have it lower back.

If dolphins are so smart, then how come they still haven't learned to breathe underwater like everything else that lives in the ocean? They've only had 40-million years to do it and they still don't have their &#$@ together.
