I live outside the U.S. and a group of us are trying to watch college football on PPV. Some games are on ESPN U. What is ESPN U and how is it different from ESPN GamePlan? If we get a ESPN GamePlan PPV, is there any chance of seeing an ESPN U game? Thanks much!

You should get ESPNU games when you have GamePlan.

And to the moron above me, it's funny, but it seems ESPNU is showing three live college football games today:
Montana at Iowa
Florida Atlantic at Clemson
Virginia at Pittsburgh

But then again, I guess Dish Network is just lying to me...

ESPN U is a sub channel of ESPN. The "U" stands for "University." ESPN U never shows live telecasts of games anyways so it doesnt matter whether you have it or not. ESPN U always shows college games after they are played (for all sports, soccer, football, baseball, etc.).

ESPN Gameplan is a subscription channel that ESPN provides that shows multiple college football games at one time. When you get Gameplan, around 8 or 9 Gameplan channels are added to your service and each channel shows a different college football game.

Hope this helps.
