A baby raccoon that my son rescued on the way home from work one night. The Mom had been hit by a car and all the other babies had died and this one little guy waddled over to my son and climbed him right up to his shoulder, he couldn't leave him there to die so he brought him home and we raised him for two years, and then released him into the woods a few miles from where we lived. We would still go to where we released him and bring him bananas, which he thought were the best thing ever. We would tap on a bowl and he would come wobbling out of the woods and sit up and eat the bananas, and then wander back out into the woods again. Raccoons are fascinating, they have to dip everything they eat in water, because they do not produce any saliva. Years ago, people thought that they were washing their food. It was definitely a fun time. Of course my son who was 16 at the time named him Rikki Tikki Tavi. He even got along with our dog and cat.

i had lots of pets but the most unusual was a hamster. My brother bought it and we took care of it. One day it got out of its cage and we couldn't find it. All the time it was hiding under my bed!

Rat, poultry and pig. All living interior the suburbs. all of them have been given on rather nicely. until eventually the rat ate my budgie, that wasnt so extreme high quality. however the rat and poultry used to nest at the same time, and the pig might dig up the airborne dirt and dirt and the poultry might pass at the back of it eating each and all of the worms.

a bobcat (i have connections through the DNR), he was really cool, like a big kitty...I raised him, of course.....i wouldn't reccomend trying to find an adult and catch it for a pet.

i used to have 2 squirrels but they grew big and thought that they can survive on their own so they chew all their way out of the wooden cage (how cool were my squirrels!), a beaver (it died), lots of insects, a salamander , a monkey (i named him naseem, but he also died)
maybe next time i should have dead animals as my pet......
