Question

Hi! I have to make an online survey on everyone's opinion about body modification.

Here are the choices:
1) Breast augmentation
2) Tattoo
3) Body / Ear Piercing (state which piercings would you like/do you have)
4) Plastic surgery (which part of your body)
5) Neck elongation
6) Foot binding

Pick out which one have you done/ planning to have. And also state out your nationalities.

1. Unnecessary. And if you do get breast augmentation make sure that they look right for your frame. Do not go the Dolly Parton/Pamela Anderson route. The biggest you should get is a C. If you're already a C, you do not need bigger breasts!

2. It's a personal choice. Personally I want to get a tattoo but a small one. Do not get them all over your body. It's ridiculous.

3. Go for it. I like any kind of piercing as long as you wear them in moderation. You can wear as many in the ears as you want. BUT, if you have your eyebrow, nose, lip, or anything else on your face dont wear them all at the same time. Instead, wear the eyebrow ring and lip ring one day and the nose ring and lip ring another.

4. Stay away from the face!! You can change something you dont like about youself, but do not go overboard! Theyre have been so many pretty/beautiful women who have gotten way too much lifts and botox and implants in their face it's ridiculous.

5. It's a personal choce. Long necks are attractive, but too long makes you look just out of proportion.

6. I think it's stupid. You are damaging your bone development when you bind your feet to make them small.


I did not read that you had to pick which one you are have done or are planning to have done. I want a few SMALL tattoos. I really want my boyfriends name tattooed on my wrist. I had my nose/belly button pierced that my nose ring ripped out (it was the one where it had a little ball at the end..it hurt) and my belly button got infected. In the future I would like my nose and bellybutton pierced, plus I want to pierce my eyebrow and lip.

I am a white girl btw way (i have french, irish, native american, hispanic, german and many other things in me. i am mostly french and irsh though)

Tattoos... I have 11
Piercings...
Ears... at one point 6... plus one tragus (little flap on inside of ear) now I am down to just the tragus and my lobes but I am already up to a 10 gage

I don't knock anyone for wanting to make themselves feel good by either fitting in w/ a group or trying to be different. The foot binding thing is scary though because of the deformation, continuous pain, and eventually the inability to walk.

I have 3 piercings in each ear and used to have a cartilage piercing in my left ear until I took it out. I've considered getting my lip pierced, and I'd really like to get a tattoo of a star on the back of my neck. I'm 17, and American. :)

If you can only take one answer then you can take the one about the ear/body piercings since I have them already. :P

3. I have my ears pierced. I would ♥ to have my nose pierced (I think a tiny stud is so cute) and another set of holes in my ears. makeing yourself look like an earing holder is stupid though.
4. If there was a surgery to make you taller I would be in! lol.

2) Tattoo--3, one on my right breast, one on left calf, one on left shoulder blade

breast augmentation, I need a reduction.
Plastic surgery is something that I've never really understood. Why people want to change their looks permanently.... I cannot wrap my head around it! Does that make me a a hypocrite for wanting a reduction? My boobs are too big and they cause a lot of pain! I think of it as reconstructive, not cosmetic. And I'm a white chick.

I have a tiger tattoo climbing up my arm and a Buddha and coy fish on the base of my back. I have three peircings in each ear and a belly button peircing. If i had to choose a cosmetic procedure, I would choose a nose job, just to make it more symmetrical. I am a german, french, native american, italian female
