If whether or not you're happy depends on someone else or circumstances, no. If your happiness has to do with your making the most of whatever situation exists in the present, yes. There's a certain amount of pain, sadness and grief in every life. If you accept yours and learn the lessons these experiences have to teach you, they do not subtract from your happiness except temporarily.

Happily ever after as in "Someday my prince will come" is a fairy tale. Two people who each make the most of their own lives can be happy together. But if either feels they need the other in order to be happy, it will eventually fall apart and die.

If there is a happy ever after, then why are people still suffering? In life, humans are bound to face obstacles and struggle to gain happiness. So, no. i don't think in happy ever after.

happy in the sense that you can find a guy who will love you through thick and thin and times of need, yes... but not a happy ever after that means you will be continuously happy every second of every day. We need to go through hardships in life, though, like ore needs to be put into the furnice (to be purified).

All those lovely fairy tales that we hear as kids are just unfinished story lines...So I guess my answer would be ..No.There is no happily ever after.
