Please do not use baby walkers. They are unsafe. In fact, in many places, you can't even buy them anymore.

I would suggest using an ExerSaucer instead. They allow the baby to develop man different muscles, they don't move, and they have plenty of things to play with.

Unless you know someone who has one of these things, you'll probably have to pay for it. If you do find one for free, or cheap, be sure to check to make sure it isn't broken at all, and that it still has all its parts.

I heard baby walkers are dangerous. I wouldn't recommend using them because I was watching this thing on tv and they said they weren't very safe. When my baby was able to hold her head up on her own I got her an "intellitainer" from Sears, she sat in it and it has things on each side for them to play with. Your baby will learn in time to walk on his/her own, don't rush it.

if u want something good u have to pay - id never get 2nd hand of something like that. because u never know how good the quality is. they are fine to use occasionally just make sure baby isnt in it all the time. id buy a new one so u know it will be safe for the little one.

Try Craiglist.com They have listings in every city. They have a section "free" or you can post that you are looking for one. Or try Salvation Army or Goodwill, it won't be free, but it won't be much.

most doctors and parenting magazines would reccomend that you not use those. babies develop less trunk muscles on walkers, whereas an exersaucer where they stand on their own (often on a slightly wobbly base) helps them to balance and get stronger.

Try thrift shops.......don't think you will get one for free unless you have friends whose children have out grown them.
