it actually does come off clothing as well over time. it deteriates. our skin cells are constantly coming off microscopically but they are and thats why we are able to rub it off. if you wash your clothes enough and rub hard enough you can get sharpie off your clothes as well sometimes.

It can get taken off if scrumbed hard enough except for materials like wood, clothe and some stone because it's absorbed into the material. It's not permanent on our skin because it's not absorbed the same way as wood, clothe, etc. and like the last guy said the acid in the oil from our skin eats at the dyes in a permanent marker.

yet differently that could or could no longer be as undemanding is to get a great style of hand sanitizer on some towels or something and rub it against your epidermis. My sister did this as quickly as and the sanitizer gets maximum of it off. And it comes off because of the fact everlasting marker comes off maximum surfaces with rubbing alcohol and had sanitizer has that for the duration of it.

Probably for the same reason red dye will wear off hair, but will NEVER come out of your towel, rug, or shower curtain (not that I know from personal experience--LOL!!).
