yeah - its because you have a swollen area where ur uterus is. remember, ur uterus keeps contracting, so it is getting sore and then you get oedema there. some water retentions causes a little rise in weight. not too much though and afterwards you'll be the same weight as before as the swelling subsided

Oh hell yes! I gain a few pounds right before my period and then it takes a few days during my period for it to go away...such a pain!

We retain water. That's why we get bloated. I don't think the weight sticks around. I think it goes away with the end of your cycle. It happens to me every month.

maybe alittle and i do feel heavier when i have my periods some days you feel lazy
