The only switch emergency vehicles have is one to keep the lights green during a chase. Police, sherrif, ambulances & fire trucks all have one. If they want speeders, most use a radar gun, some cities use a radar plane.

The switch is to turn the engin on and then they turn it the other way to turn it off

kills your engine,.. or diables your vechicle,.. however I think this is a myth? (maybe) If you had replaced the motor and all the electrical, belts, hoses, then it wouldn't work
