It's helpful that our fingers are all different lengths because it makes it easier to do things. Like your thumb and index finger make a pretty good combination for a lot of tasks.

You know you just might have something here. What if the male organ was on his finger, then he could just put it out of the car window and do his thing when he had to go. Also, if the females organ was on her shoulder, then the man just go up to her and tap her on the shoulder and say "Hey, haven't I seen you somewhere before". (it is an old joke).... No, I like my fingers the same as they are now, the way God designed them. That other way would be much better for guys, though, too bad that it didn't happen that way. Gosh darn for the guys.

You've been smoking the funny stuff, haven't you?! That's a 'high' question if I ever heard one!! But since it deserves an answer, I would venture to guess that it depends on their length. If they were all short, they would not be of much use. If they were all long, or even normal length, based on your longest finger, then grasping would certainly be easier! Even if you were 'grasping for straws'! Humans have survived because they have learned the value of adaptation, so we would adapt, and it would be comfortable in no time at all.

wow..it'll be harder to hold chopsticks!... .. i'd use my palms to pick stuff up a lot i guess.... but i suppose if we did have fingers of the same length... stuff would have been made diff..and u'd be asking.. what if all our fingers were of different lengths..=)

well...if i woke up one day and all my fingers were suddenly the same length, i would be horrified. it would change things a great deal, i imagine

your funny...how do you come up with this stuff. What if our toes were on our hands and our fingers were on our feet? Would shoes still be the most important fashion accessory or would it be gloves?
