I've heard about it, but I barely know anything about it, except that you can edit photos with it and stuff. Someone please tell me as much as you can about "photoshop"?

Photoshop is an image-editing application from Adobe. It is often used by professionals for it's wide range of features and sophisticated tools. Thus, it is very expensive.
It is also a verb, to "photoshop" something means that someone used an image editor (not necessarily Photoshop) to alter a photo in any way (some say it is "to make up for bad photography").
A free alternative is the Gimp. You can find it at http://www.gimp.org/

well photoshop is a photo editing sotware. with this software u can change colors, brightness, contrast and apply filters to your images and also apply cool transitions. also if some of your images are very old u can scan them and then edit them in photoshop. u can also make images black and white. many books are available for professionals who deal with photo-editing like in ad agencies. i recommend that u first visit some online tutorials or read the help that accompanies with photoshop.
