I ROCKED THE GRANDSTANDS!!! But I did shake and I had to go pee REALLY REALLY Badly. any tips on how to not shake? I am normally the best in the Goldendale High School Pep Band, Jazz Band, concert Band, whatever; but now, any time I solo or am to play loud, I shake and get scared. HELP ME!!! Go Goldendale Timberwolves!!!!!!!!!!!! We won 20-0!!!

Good job goldendal timberwolves!!!!!!!! I just got back from our home game football (i was in marching band)...and we lost :( it was disappointing, but we will definetely win next time!!

i think you should just calm down and pretend no one is listening to you...pretend like you're practincing at home by yourself. before you play your solo, take couple of deep long breaths.

good luck next time! :)

The more you play solos, the less this will happen. I always have to pee right before a performance...I think I'm going to wet my pants! Then, when the performance begins, the feeling goes away. The more you worry about the shaking, the harder it will be to make it stop. That nervous energy can be really great for adding an edge, but it can be frustrating, too. Just keep getting as much solo experience as you can! Go play at nursing homes on Saturday afternoons for more performance opportunities.

dont take it so seriously, playing music is supposed to be fun. the more relaxed you are the better youll get. the first time i played in front of people, i had a problem with my knees, i damn near bit the dirt. then i found out that most of the guys wish that they could do what i was doing and were envious, and the girls, well we wont go there. youve got a big adrenalin rush going, just channel it it the right direction, you will get over the shakes.

1. take deep breaths right before
2.have confidence
3. practice your solos in a slower time before you play them that way you'll be locked in for the real thing.
4. remember: most people can't tell good music from bad.

Don't play music to impress people. Play music to entertain and have fun with people.
