baby's birth

I would have to agree on the birth of a child being a life changer........but I also was changed by witnessing the passing of my grandfather. He talked to me thru the entire thing and described what he saw. I sat there as he drew his last breath, kissed him on the cheek and whispered to him......."It's OK Grandad........you can go now". I watched as life left his body, without pain, without so much as a movement. He taught me how to die.

I am not meaning to be morbid. It is just that from that moment on I no longer fear death. Before it was such a mystery. Now it is a familiar end. Since then I have lived life with much more enthusiasm and joy, because I am not afraid of the ending.

becoming homeless and being able to see the world from a different point of view. watching how the "druggie society" worked. and seeing the hookers and young girls who ran away from home getting in cars with older men. it's so awful. it is very scary out there in the real world.

your house protects you from all the evil in the streets. and your car is your saviour. your job is your LIFE.
