I am married, but we never had a "wedding". We have been together over 10 years. I have planned one more than one occasion to have a wedding, but he could not get away from work. His job is 80 % travel and he only gets to come home for 2 days every 6 weeks. He does get to come home in Christmas for 2 weeks. We use thousands of M to M minutes,so glad its free... So should I plan a winter wedding and hope he will make this one?

Honey forget a real wedding, it's just a waste of money, believe me, I know!!!
I wish we would of went small & cheap for the wedding and paid big for a HONEYMOON!!!!!!
So, personally, I would make plans for a romantic 2 week honeymoon(Hawaii, Florida Keys, Pocanos etc..), after all, this is about the two of you.
Maybe he doesn't want a big wedding, maybe, he just wants YOU!!! So, give him a memorable two week celebration of your blessed union and be happy with the wonderfull 10 years you have shared together and look forward to many more yet to come!!!!!

well if i were you 10 years is a long time i would tell your husband
give him a options either be there for the wedding or dont come home at all his family should come first not his job you should know this.there is other job out there but i am sure it all about the money.because money is the root to all evil.i wouldn't plan a wedding in til you get a answer from your husband and have him home a week before the wedding to be sure he there for the wedding if he love you he would do this for you.

First of all I must commend you. I don't think that I could do it, because a marriage take two individuals to make it work and if you're always alone, how do you make it work. What the point in work with no play, how do you guys spend the money that he does work for? You should pray that God makes your marriage work before thinking of making wedding bells ring that won't ever exist anyway. It sounds as though you're caught up on having a wedding more than the marriage it self. May GOD be with you guys, because for better or worse through thickness and thin are apart of the vowels. (but don't be foolish) PRAY AND ASK GOD FOR THE KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT TO DO!

What do you need a wedding for, heck you don't even have a marriage. Not when he travels 80% of the time. He is married to his job.

I think that would be the best time to have your wedding because he has more time off work at this time. Go for it girl! Good Luck!

You've been married for 10 years, why bother? But at Christmas, have him take you on a honeymoon.

Sure! Maybe he should re-think his job as well tho! That's way too hard to make a marriage work. I don't know how you've gone this long! But yeah, good luck!
