Fatigue in the third trimester is not uncommon. Ask your OB if you are really worried. You body is doing a lot of work right now. I am in my third trimester, and I get sleepy a bit after waking up...even if I slept a solid 8-10 hours!

it's called sleep inertia. Depending on the individual, you may not become fully awake until two hours after you wake up, regardless of whether you get a good night sleep or not. In fact, your reflexes are as bad when you wake up as they are after drinking a few beers.
Aside from drinking coffee, I'm not too sure there is any real way to combat this though.

it's probably because that you're still nurturing the baby. the baby inside takes alot of nutrients from you, so it basically takes away most of your energy. and plus, it's weight can also slow you down, sweat alot [maybe], and tire easily or it's because the baby moves around so much which causes you to tire out so easily.

Most women at the end of there second trimester have actually more energy. You might ask your doctter to check your iron level. My wife benefited by taking more iron.
