Hi Turtle Girl. You are only as old as you feel. If you are responsible, that is all you have to be. There is nothing wrong with doing some things that some people would call childish. I have two daughters, one is 10 and one is 16 months. I am almost 27 years old, and I love disney movies. I don't care if I am 50, I will still love the little mermaid. Don't let 30 make you old. Love life, live life, and don't let the inner child die.

Nothing is wrong with you. You like what you like. If you feel some of your ways are childish, then change them yourself. You don't need anyone's approval on that. As long as your man is comfortable and you are as well, who cares what anyone else thinks. Turning 30 is a changing experience. I'll be thirty in May. My body has changed, my thinking has changed, my habits, what I eat, I'm more concerned about my health, I'm more grown up now, and I appreciate life to the fullest. I'm making wiser decisions for my family and myself. You are turning into the woman you are supposed to be for the rest of your life. Enjoy it. It doesn't last long. The twenties passed by so quickly. I did not enjoy my twenties the way I should have. But I'm going to cherish my thirties. Have fun with your life. I sure am.

At younger years all I thought that reaching such the age of 30 will make great changes in my life. However, turning 30 did not have great impact when I was at it. My way of thinking remained the same and I could say that all what I feel about myself were just the same. All that changed were the level of responsibility I have to carry on and of course the level of my knowledge. The feelings and emotions remained the same. Do not be overempwhelmed with such thoughts of the changes you expected to be. Be yourself and do not think of what others might say as long as you know that you are just doing right.

Turning 30 is freaky. It freaked me out, but, turning 40 didn't even phase me. Ponder this; aside from shopping in the juniors section, looking for turtles and loving to be tickled, do you think you are a responsible adult? Even responsible adults need to seek out turtles, now and then.

What I can tell you is that when I turned 30, I felt I hadn't matured enough, that something was wrong with my development. As a result, I spent my thirties having experiences which helped me mature. If you desire change, life will bring exactly the right kinds of experience for you to do so.

Dont take this the wrong way; thinking you life is going to be any different than what is now is naive. You are still you and that never changes. Also being childlike is a good thing as you get older.

I'm 30 and love looking for tadpoles. It's not childish it's biology and nature. When you stop seeing the beauty in nature then you really are old and crotchety. Don't try to change you already have. It just happens so slowly you can never see it in yourself. Vive les turtles!!!

I definitely felt that my life was at a crossroads the year I turned thirty. I knew then that my youth was over, and I was saying good-bye to my twenty's forever. I was depressed for about six months after my thirtieth birthday.

At 30 I felt free, sexy and wild. I never had a problem with men noticing me and I loved it, I was in control and I felt better than any time in my life
