What? I don't understand what the HELL you're saying. Debbie (err Deborah) was the Princess of Pop for a few years. Tiffany couldn't compete with her. She was a great role model for young girls and she has an incredible voice!!!

Avril... she would kick your butt!!!

What does their music have to do with being gay? To the best of my knowledge, neither of them write songs of homosexuality.

That depends on what you mean exactly. If you mean gay music as in music that only gay people listen to- well there's no such thing. Most gay men seem to like Madonna, but that's all that I can think of. Musical tastes depend on the individual just like with straight people. My friend Ray listens to Justin Timberlake and Beyonce. I listen to David Bowie and Devo and Duran Duran. My boyfriend likes Sam Cooke and various gospel atists. None of us like Avril Lavine....

If by gay you mean 'sissy' or 'weak' as some people seem to think gay means- well i can't help you there. Music to me represents the power of human creativity and never should be seen as weak. No matter how many drag queens lip sink to the song....

There are not more gay white men then black gay men, the reason for gay white mean being more noticeable is that in the black community it is thought to be common for a black man to be straight, and if they are gay it is very hidden because of religious brainwashing that makes people think they need to be "set free from homosexuality" you will notice most black gays do the "used to be gay" but then years later they turn out to be gay again so sad I know. And also if you think a black guy is gay he probably is,, and he doesn't want to come out for fear of thinking he has a devil, and this being a sissy crap.

The term "gay" used in this context usually means wimpy, wussy or dumb. Music that is not considered what real men listen to.

However, it can also mean songs which have gay connotations/references such as with Queen, Backstreet Boys, NSync, etc.

.. Avril Lavigne .. is NOT gay. Labelling anyone that listens to her as gay .. is ig'nant.

.. I love the hot little rock star .. she in my top list.

.. and what does sexual preference have to do with music ? I would think gay people would listen to the same music as anybody else.

I can barely understand the question, but 1st of all, Debbie Gibson went out w/ the 80s. 2nd, though you don't Have to be gay to like the acts you mentioned, I'll say that *typically*, the only males who're into them are either very young or gay.

Dunno if that answers your question...?

I would say that lilting, plucky, robin-hoody crap could be classified as gay.

I mean, it's happy, joyous, picture fairies flying around. That's what gay means right??
