don't do anything that would exert more than you normally would, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to continue doing all you have been doing up to this point... it would be bad if U got lazy and did nothing.

I'm 9 months along now. For me, being active every day is like this:
1. Walking--walk to the bathroom every 15min
2. Lifting--Lift some spaghetti into your mouth
3. Power walking - Over to your TUMS when you get heartburn
4. More Lifting- Lift a litre of water up as you chug the whole thing
5. Practice Breathing- Cursing and panting when the Pack N' Play doesn't "assemble easily"
6. Running- Back to the bathroom!
This concludes my recent exercise routine. When you get to 9 months, feel free to print out this guide and use it freely!

Everything you listed is being TOO active. You're straining yourself too much. If you need to be active trying walking or swimming. You can work out, but as a pregnant woman I'm sure your doctor can offer you a few less rigorous activities. Good luck!

Being active means you need to do what you normally do, concidering you must be very careful with what you do. Basicaly your not suppost to sit at home all day on the couch and eat. If you dont walk alot, when you become further along your legs hurt. Good luck and congradulations!!!

Being active is great during pregnancy you can usually do anything you normally would. During your last trimester you have to cut back on abdomen exercises and you should not water ski, snow ski, snow board, roller blade or anything else where you have a high chance of falling on your face after you are 16 weeks. But other than that, do ya thang

This is really a question for your doctor or midwife because they know your individual circumstances and the health of your pregnancy and baby.
My doctor said not to exceed 140 heart rate per minute or get overheated. So as long as the doctor approves the activity go for it.
I would however, avoid water skiing or water slides. Those can loosen the mucous plug that you need to protect the amniotic sac.

anything that could physically hurt you or the baby
speed boating.....you could fall out or two boats could crash
horseback riding .... you could fall off
light to medium aerobics are okay, as well as pregnancy yoga and Pilate's
weight lifting is okay for short amounts of time
keep in mind....when blood is needed for muscles, your body draws blood away from your uterus. This can cause your baby to not have enough oxygen and could suffocate or starve from lack of nutrients.

It depends on the person. If you're active before, you don't want to become a couch potato. The best thing to do is talk to your doctor. Don't let well-doers tell you wrong. Get professional advice on what activities you are allowed to do without jeopardising the health of your baby or yourself. BTW, buttnugget??? What kind of a name is that?

Don't get exhausted though, and don't lift too much! You can be active, but calm down a little, you are pregnant :)

Best time to be most active during your pregnancy is during your second trimester. I suggest talking to your doctor about pregnancy safe activities, or going to pregnancy fitness classes.
