I want to run a big turbo but i know the compression is too high so i am willing to run a smaller turbo to spin at the starting line. I just want to run a turbo but i dont want to blow the motor in half while im doing it. Please give a great answer telling me i can run a small turbo at least.

you will have to retard the spark, run low boost, about 4 or 5 lbs. Also water injection. With water in jection you also get an added bonus of better fuel consumption.Make sure there is plenty of water reserve becuase as soon as the water runs out the heat will rise causing detonation.

Running a small turbo off of the motor, you do run a chance of blowing the engine dependent of how high you rev your RPM's when spinning your tires. If you keep it from red lining, a small turbo would be your best bet.

examine each little thing , might desire to easily be loose or broken spark plugs or jammed lifters is mostly a cam belt that jumped some the teeth , eliminate all the cheap motives earlier you spend enormous funds , a used low mileage engine from a wreckers could be ultimate yet you should purchase a million and a pair of three hundred and sixty 5 days previous engines direct from japan or by using brokers as japan has such strict emission controls now that no 3 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous engine can bypass so a sparkling engine at 3 years is almost a familiar provider there now

The engine will run much too hot and cause damage. I have turboed a ford and had to reduce to special 6.5 lc pistons.

New cams and a rejet on the injection will produce as much go as a turbo anyway and work well with your pistons

K, yeah, in therory 3 or 4 pounds is acceptable. But if it was mine? Not a chance. There's the redline thing the last guy pointed out, plus just the lifespan of the motor. Don't know about you, but mine's a daily driver. I can't afford to do the rings, heads, or both every couple of months.

You do and the engine will explode. Never go above 9.0 when using a turbo.

I'd really advise against it

I could lie and say it's OK, but I'd rather be honest than blow smoke

you already have high compression as you recognize so you can not run much boost so it is pretty much a waste of money..
