The Feather's Bed Song
Feather, my feather I see you so sweet-
Smiling so brightly right here by my feet.
Whether, my feather you rest at your ease-
To dream and to slumber however you please.
You can remember the night won't be long
And when you awaken this will be your song.

Here's the lullaby that my sister and I wrote in the back of our minivan when we moved from New Mexico to California in 1987. It's to the tune of Hush Little Baby.
Hush Little Fat-Head
by Michele and Corey
Hush little fat-head, don't say a word
Momma's gonna buy you a big, fat bird
And if that big, fat bird won't poop
Momma's gonna buy you a hula-hoop
And if that hula-hoop won't spin
Momma's gonna buy you a Barbie and Ken
And if that Barbie and Ken won't make babies
Momma's gonna buy you a dog with rabies
And if that dog with rabies won't bite
Momma's gonna buy you some dynamite
And if that dynamite won't explode
Momma's gonna flush you down the commode
Hush little baby, have sweet dreams
And I'll ignore your frightened screams

Close Your Eyes Dear
Tonight is your night dear
Your day is all done
Time to close your eyes dear
For tomorrow will shine a new sun
You shall leave your sorrows behind
And dream dreams of glee
If your dreams come unsettled
Then you should wake up and pee
Don't fear what you don't yet understand
For knowledge is plentiful in your land
Remember to open your mind
And always try and be kind
So tonight is your night dear
If you awaken scared know this poem is here
Time to close your eyes
And don't let out any cries

Did you get your last drink of water and check in the closet for monsters one last time? You did? then I'll sing to you...
Lullaby, And Goodnight,
Go to sleep, little Feather,
Close your eyes now, sleepyhead
And I'll tuck you into bed,
When you wake, a new day,
Yours to eat and sleep and play!
(I sing this to my own kids after their own water and monster recon missions)

I'm actually better at the Tucking-in part. A kiss good night and turn out the light.

NO TITLE YET - Would you name this song for me?
Close your eyes
It’s almost midnight
I hear your sighs
You’re worried, right?
I’ll be easy on you tomorrow
‘Cause I feel your sorrow
If you wet your bed
Spanking is all you get

Go to sleep, go to sleep
If you don't I will kill you
Close your eyes
Or I'll feed you flies
Then I'll poke out your eyes.
Hurry up, go to sleep
I don't want to hear
Another peep.
