well, that depends...

If the "job" is making America look foolish, self-important and greedy...I think he's done a marvelous job. But having said that, he is most certainly not the only one fostering that image.

If the "job" is keeping comedians employed, he's doing fantastic!

If the "job" is President of the United States, well..... let's just say NO ONE could possibly do it to the point of pleasing everyone. Thank you, world's pundits!

Do you really have to ask...
as for the other persons opinion about him being reelected for a second term...well it is a known fact that during a war the people are more inclined not to replace a president (he knew that and is part of the reason for the war) in the same respect that was a really close election and for it to be that close in a war just says a lot more than you think.
I think he is a horrible President...his father was better than him (and that's not saying a lot) and he didn't get a second term...don't know why we thought his son would be any better

Yes.

If he wasn't president, everyone would be griping about whoever was, be it a Republican or a Democrat. It doesn't matter.

I agree that if he wasn't doing his job, he wouldn't have been reelected. He must be doing something right.

You have to cut the guy some slack. Look at when he came into office. It was right around the time of the terrorist attacks. That would have still happened no matter who was in office. Maybe they wouldn't have decided to go to war, but what would America be like today if we hadn't?

*****No.***** Not even close.
The only war he is winning is the war on the middle class. And he didn't even mention this was during the elections - or ever.
The cost of gas has almost tripled since he has been in office, and he has not whispered anything about making the US self sufficient so that we dont have to rely on his foreign buddies. He is an oil man and abusing his power to make himself rich.
He wants to put the elderlys ssi into the stock market.
He smirls that damn smirk everytime a soldier is killed. Bush should be impeached

You can't be serious, what planet do you live on where there are jobs and no person is at war away from their families getting bombed and blew into pieces? I bet nobody affiliated with the Bush family is in Iraq right now wondering if they will ever see America let alone family again in their life.

Well, you have to also ask the question, "Would it have made much difference if someone else was in office?".

I wouldn't put so much stock in how much control over world and domestic events he has. Presidents from both parties throughout our history have been blamed for just about everything. If it had been a Democrat, you'd be hearing the same crap on different issues...

While I realize that it is open for debate, at least he is fighting for the freedom of the Western world.

Yes he is, no matter what anybody says I feel secure with him being the President. Also if he wasn't, why was he elected for a second term?
