iframe = inline (it is an idependent box frame that can be placed anywhere on a page)

frame = standard frame

avoid frames.

Ya, like those other guys answered.

iframe is code to ask for information from another page to fill in, I used to use this a lot in yahoo's league pages.

frames are like dividing a page into two, one is a set of information and the other is a separate set of informations.

People get annoyed with frames and solve the problem with javascript today ... but it did shine in the sun about eight years ago.

An iframe can go anywhere in a webpage to display another webpage as part of it; a frame takes up the whole page allowing the page to only display other pages and none of it's own content.
