How old are you? Don't wish for it...you'll get it soon enough, and then have it for like 40 years.

Well do to cancer, I don't have one either. But if we did not have a period we could not have children. I do remember thinking at times I could live with out it. I know my husband is happy I don't any more, but we where not planning to have anymore children. So, don't worry, it will come along, when its ready... If you are around the age of having it, if your late then after 6 weeks go to the Doctor if you are worried... hope this helps.. Best Wishes

Doctors took mine away I had a hysterectomy due to endometriosis.. My period sucked and hurt so bad..
You should not wish it away though it's something every woman needs to experience with out it you are at higher risk for many things like bone loss and other stuff..

I got my first period on Mother's Day of sixth grade. And I still don't like it. Sometimes it's very heavy and I have to go to the bathroom in the middle of class to "curb Flo". Sometimes I have cramps so bad that I have to stay in bed with a heating pad. My nurse practitioner (a big fancy word for a women's health nurse) gave me Naproxen Sodium, which is similar to 550 MG of tylenol, and it still doesn't curb the cramps very well.
So appreciate your lack of period while you still can.

I control mine with medications... so no I don't wish it away, it is an indication that I probably can still be able to have kids.
You'll understand once you get a little bit older how important this is.
It is a pain in the but, but you get used to it, and when you get older you can control it.

Yes, It's messy and just annoying. Sometimes you have bad cramps and backaches from your period. Not to mention the worry of your pad leaking. And having it get on your pants.
