If you're getting a lot of growth from the vine, but few grapes, then you may want to make sure the vines are not getting too much fertilizer - like many other plants, if they get a lot of nitrogen, they will be a little *too* happy and have no need to reproduce (which is what the grape/seed is for, of course). If you're getting neither growth nor grapes, you may want to be sure that the vine is getting adequate fertilizer and water.

Mine either! There were a lot of green grapes the first part of the summer. I thought the birds got them. The grapes might have gotten some kind of blight or disease, because we didn't spray it this year with protective insecticide. No jelly this year... wahh <:^(

If you are doing the same things for the vines, and soil, that you did for the previous years, then it is clearly the heat this year. Much of the Country has hit, their highest heat index rating in 2006.

Grapes are very picky with their soil....They like a dry soil so their feet (roots) are able to go deeper into the ground. Next year try to plant them in anther area..
