The TI 84 has more features.
You can compare them like I did at the TI Education site. It's got an easy to read comparison chart: http://education.ti.com/educationportal/sites/US/productCategory/us_graphing.html.

Another good reference is http://www.vernier.com/calc/83vs84comp.html .

I'd restate the facts from these sites, but I think it's easier to see from the charts. Hope I've helped! =)

And, by the way, they cost about the same between stores.

TI-83s are good, they do the work you need. TI-84s are about the same but have a few other features. If you have the money to spare, get the TI-84, but if you just need basic graphing capabilities (well, the TI-83 does more than just graphing), you can get the TI-83. I think you'll be happy with either. Don't know about a store with a good deal, but try amazon.com.

If i'm occurring the fake premise Durant choked, i might purchase this. If the warmth get beat it will be Lebron choked because of the fact many human beings apparently do no longer understand communities win basketball video games and not gamers. So specific human beings might make a extensive deal approximately Lebron choking, whether it became into particularly with the aid of him enjoying undesirable or in simple terms the warmth getting beat by a extra effective team. yet Durant did no longer choke, he performed incredibly damn nicely up till this night, and that's possibly with the aid of him having to play 40 5 minutes a sport, so it is a moot element.

The Ti-84 is definitely better and the Ti84 Plus Silver edition should suit all your needs.
The Ti-89 Titanium edition is good for college but I'd recommend you sticking with the 84 Silver right now.
You can check the features yourself @

And some of the newer Casios are worth a look into as well.

personally i'd go with the Ti-89.. becuaes you can use it in high school and in college... but the only down factor is that its a bit different to the ways the functions work...

Ti-83 are for stat classes

Ti-84 are for pre calc classes and calc...

When I was in school we got one from school. Get the one your teacher recommend. If you feel like spending some money buy Mathematica for PC. It will solve anything out there really.

Just make sure whatever you decide to get that it's solar powered. If not, they really go through batteries.
