Here ya go:

Jet! i can almost remember their funny faces
That time you told me that
You were going to be marrying soon.
And jet, i thought the only
Lonely place was on the moon.
Jet! jet!
Jet! was your father as bold as a sergeant major?
How come he told you that
You were hardly old enough yet?
And jet, i thought the major
Was a lady suffragette.
Jet! jet!

Ah, matter, want jet to always love me?
Ah, matter, want jet to always love me?
Ah, matter, much later.

Jet! with the wind in your hair of a thousand laces.
Climb on the back and we'll
Go for a ride in the sky.
And jet, i thought the major
Was a lady suffragette.
Jet! jet!

The word suffragette means: a woman who advocates suffrage for women
The word suffrage means: the right to vote

Now how it plays into the song... I guess you'd have to ask Paul McCartney that one coz I can't quite figure it out. Sorry.

I remember Jet and hope to get this soon. I'm dying to get a double CD by Wings at amazon.com called Wingspan. Its got about 40 songs, all the hits, and is a bargain at $15. I love hearing all their old hits on oldies and classics stations. Their songs hold up better than the Beatles. They're not dated at all.
I'm not really a fan of Lennon though. I always thought he had a boring voice. His post Beatles songs were not in the same league as McCartneys.
