Well, you could post an advertisement on-line at either http://www.craigslist.com or http://www.kijiji.com. You could also try placing a classified advertisement in a Philippines newspaper. Be honest. Tell people that you are a student and are seeking a free or very low-cost used lap-top computer. If any very generous business person reads it, they might donate their used one to you.
