Only the current leaders of the republicans are fascists. For the most part the voters are just conformists. That is why they throw that term "fascist" around so loosely these days. They wanted to get that label out there before people started putting it on them more than THEY ALREADY HAVE BEEN!
Look at our government for what it is now- elected politicians granted emergency powers and making decisions that undermine the constitution for the good of the people. I have heard that somewhere before.
Exalting the nation over the individual with a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic control (wire tapping, lying about weapons of mass destruction). Hey everybody, people in other countries already know this about the US. I don't hate America, because America wasn't always like this. Only recently has this become our reality.
