So I'm driving through town today and I notice the gas prices have dropped, enough for me to notice. So im like wait a minute, we have a pipeline here in the USA that was closed off for repairs and the price drops? hmmmm.
Anyone else think the gas/oil companies are trying to cover their butts for their nice earnings ?
I do

Of coarse they are, trying but not succeeding.

That is something to think about. One minute I was hearing talks of gas going up to $4/gal and then a few weeks later it's slowly but surely dropping in price. Not that I'm complaining about the cheaper gas.

Actually, they have reopened part of the pipeline. You may recall that when it was closed down gas prices shot up.
