Yes, how about in the NEW movie when Superman and Clark kent both take off for five years.... arrive back on earth at the same time... and look like twins, but one has glasses.
I'd say that is lightyears more dumb.

Superman talking in space, Superman flying (he could only leap over tall building, the intro never says he could fly) and Superman able to cut his hair and nails.
