I don't really feel a connection anymore, and I've never told the person "I love you." I have never broken up with someone before, and I hate hurting people emotionally, but I just need to be honest with myself and him. How should I do this in the best way? Phone..face to face...email?? Any other suggestions...?

Just say "I dont think this is going to work out"It dosent matter what he says you have to take care of yourself.If you let this go on you will start to hate him and yourself.Its not going to be the eaiest thing you have ever done, by far.You must do it soon

Don't crush the guy by calling him on the cell phone or even email. Look him in the eye and tell him exact ally how you feel. Just be honest and give don't give him some horrific story. The man needs to know why it over and that's all.

I understand what u are saying... But if your heart is not there then u have go by what your heart is telling u to do...Life is very hard there is not 1 good way to be able to say it just to be as truthful as u can be..If this young man care about you,your family then he would leave you go and Hope that 1 day that you may just feel different about him.It is much harder when you have family with someone then not you can always try to be friend with this young man but just realize that it will take him much time

Good thoughts. But whatever it be, dont marry him just because he says he love u. Better to break now than later.
I would think seeing him face to face and tell him is the better option to show u still value him as a person and his feeling.

I just recently ended a 28 yr. marriage of lies and deception. Honesty is your best bet. Tell him face to face that even though he loves you you feel differently about him.

it does not matter what he says. the question is are you in love with him. if not tell him. Would he really want to stay with someone that does not love him
