A solid argument you can make is that you derived a "fair market value" by comparing various prices for the object and settled on the listed price as a fair representation of what it would sell for. This requires no citation whatsoever nor is it using another's work and passing it off as your own since you researched and compared, therefore the judgment of a fair price was entirely yours.

Plagiarizing means taking someone else's work and passing it off as your own. I'm not sure what your lecturer was talking about, but copying a price from a price list doesn't sound like plagiarism, unless your assignment was to figure out what a price was supposed to be.
Despite what Earl D says, you may NOT copy a whole book on a photocopy machine. That is violation of copyright and can land both you and the person who owns the photocopier in very deep trouble. There have been a number of prosecutions in copy shops for that very thing. But photocopying is not plagerism. They are two entirely different things.

Unless you are withholding some information, OR there were specific instructions on the assignment about referencing your sourses, it would be very difficult to for your lecturer to prove such an accusation.
But if you are worried about it, look for the same price from other sources. If you can find it from more than one, it becomes a common knowledge situation.

First, tell where you got the information. Always. That prevents it from being plagiarism.
Secondly, you can "borrow" under 5 words in a row, and it still won't be plagiarism.
Thirdly, if it is commonly known information (like Washington is the capital of the US), then it isn't plagiarism. Is this price commonly known information?

I'm not sure I get what the "crime" is.
Education is exempt from the copyright laws, so long as you don't claim a copyrighted work to be your own.
If you assignment was to give prices on something there can be nothing wrong with copying a price!
You can, however copy and entire book on the Xerox machine in a college library as that is totally legal!
Libraries, teachers and schools are exempt from the laws, so long as you copy it from a "legal" source such as a library that bought a legal copy. Peer to peer copying it still illegal, even at schools.

Stacy L has the surprising thought. In a short sale undertaking the financial enterprise has already agreed to settle for much less then what's owed on the valuables. This became into carried out by the present proprietor contacting his lending enterprise and telling them he can now no longer cope with to pay for the money and can they settle for much less as fee in finished. the financial enterprise then went for the duration of the suggestions-set of determining what they might settle for as a fee in finished for the non-public loan. it is the quantity the fast sale is appropriate. How close is the abode to foreclosure? banks do no longer artwork right away and in case you ask them to settle for much less then what they already discovered then they'd desire to bypass for the duration of the approach throughout lower back. this might take time, a minimum of a few weeks. It additionally must be interior the banks perfect interest to do a short sale particularly of foreclose. keep in mind, they are able to foreclose and sell the abode. in the event that they think of they gets extra money by foreclosing (keep in mind, they have already got the approach began and are apparently on the threshold of entirety) then they'll foreclose. for instance, if the open industry will command a $250,000 cost for the valuables and you're offering $200,000 the financial enterprise will would desire to assert it is extra effective to take the $50,000 shortfall particularly of foreclosing. What may be the inducement for the financial enterprise to take $50,000 much less considering the fact that they have already spent the money to get the foreclosure technique began? maximum banks comprehend what the abode will command interior the loose industry and could no longer bypass plenty under that for the time of a short sale. considering the fact that this house is so on the threshold of foreclosure the fast sale will help the present proprietor extra beneficial than it is going to the financial enterprise. they're already 3/4 of how for the duration of the foreclosure technique. good success!

no, not unless you tell where it came from,
What source did it come from, then you list that with your assignment, but if your assignment doesn't require a source, then go for it.
