I love lavender among others but is my favourite.

When it comes to scent and beauty I melt when i see a frangipani tree in flower! It has the most beautiful scent in this world!
I don't live in the tropics so can't grow one :-(

When it comes to scent, it's hard to beat a gardenia; if it's interesting flowers, then I like bird-of-paradise plants (tropical or indoors only!) Outdoors, roses can live just about anywhere given a little care and attention; if you have a large area, then wildflowers native to your particular part of the world are always a good bet!

I love freesia. It smells heavenly. Second choice would be the Sterling Silver rose ( it is a light lavender colored rose ). It has a distinct , intense rose fragrance.

Passiflora. It is a climber that likes south facing wall and grows quite quickly when happy. The flowers are stunnning and complex. come in two colours that i know of, puplely and white. in a ho summer after the flower it produces small orange fruits.

My favorite would be gardenias. But I also love the small of lavender.

Peonies. I love the big blooms and the heavy fragrance of some types.

In my garden, I love clematis, on my table in a vase I love daisies and yellow roses!

I love Lilly Calla's and sage green orchids.

For the bloom my favourite is azalea, for fragrance it's jasmine.
