Never. That is a dangerous practice. Good personal external hygiene is all u need.

Actually douching isn't good for you, it disrupts the natural balance in your vagina and may cause an increased occurrence of yeast infection, bacterial growth, and increase your chance for having cervical cancer in the future. Normal washing around the vulva should be enough to control feminine odor. If it isn't you may have an infection. If you really feel you must douche I would only use plain water, or plain water with a little bit of vinegar. The premix stuff you get at the store is a big no-no. The chemicals they add to it should not be going inside your body.

Not too often because the body has it's own pH that is important to maintain.

But if I'm making snail trails while dragging myself over the carpet and floors - then I douche.

I AM NOT INTENDING TO GROSS ANYONE OUT. Now that we've gotten that cleared up . . .
I don't know if you're aware of this, but the vagina naturally cleans itself. That's the discharge that is often inconvenient.

never, douches are not good for you, keep it clean down there with soap and water. douches can make you stink worse if you use them too much.
