If you want to learn how to use computers, then I would say just to do some daily work with the computers. I don't even know how to use computers at first (none at all), but now I can't believe myself. Just ask questions and read some PC magazines and stuff like that to improve faster. I took me about 3-4 years to become used to computers.

There are many books available for new computer users. Go to a bookstore and look for "PCs For Dummies" ( don't be offended by that title ), or "Absolute Beginner's Guide To Computer Basics" by Michael Miller. I have these two books and found them to be a great help. Good luck!

Take a deep breath, and jump in with both feet. Its helpful to have six or seven of them to practice on and you might want to keep a baseball bat near you if you are teaching yourself. LOL
