i'm trying to get my dad to switch from houston.rr to yahoo messanger so we can chat online. how can i get him to switch?
please help...need input.

Tell him there are all these cool features and you guys can share pictures and talk with voice and play games together etc, Also you could just say "Dad, Id really like it if you switched to yahoo messenger for me, Id really like to chat with you on there." God luck.

he doesn't have to switch. He can have both. Yahoo messanger is a free download.
No big deal, have him set up yahoo

explain to your dad that yahoo is easy to use and if you could chat on line or emails your phone bills would go down alot and with money situations around this world thanks to gas prises i am sure he will understand also the next time you go and see your dad help him set up a yahoo email account and show him how it works he may not be real sure what to do good luck

All he has to do is sign up for yahoo and down load the messenger, he doesn't need t give anything else up. Yahoo is free.

Talk it up about how much you want to talk to him and you use yahoo so if he would just download it for free you guys could talk alot more than usual. Play up the daddy's little girl thing.

Yahoo messenger is free option. You can download this if you have any Internet connection. your father can download yahoo messenger for free if he have any Internet connection.
