Is it OK to prevent somebody from causing huge economic damage? One life ended to save $1 million? $1 billion? $100 billion? By economic damage I mean destruction of economic, social, or natural resources.

Having taken due time to wrap my cranial matter around your query, taking into account all apparent variables and with the assumption that this individual is willfully and with forethought and premeditation attempting to cause widespread economic damage I would say it would be prudent and fully justifiable to separate this person from the populous at large, but ya can't kill em, it's a No No ya know?

You cover a lot of ground with your question. If I read correctly, you should have asked if it was okay to KILL to prevent......The answer is no. No amount of dirty green paper is worth a life.
